We visited the store twice and they patiently answered our questions, went through TV and sound bar options in detail and then set up installation for two days later (thank you , Al). Jason and Matt came to our home, set everything up on our internet, hooked up our streaming services to the roku, helped us connect spotify to the TV sound bar, and then let us run through how to use the 3 remotes until we had everything down. Very polite. Wore good masks, took boots off, had a cloth for the floor, no rush - very pleasant and competent.

We could have gone to anyplace on line to get our Sonos speaker with Alexa, but NO we went back to Hippos in Albany once again to add to the other system that we also bought from Hippo's. First because we want to do business local, an second because of the personal attention they give. We had a few questions during our setup, we called and wala!!! they were professional, patient, and more than willing to take the time with us that we needed. Thanks again team Hippos. I am sure we will be back in the future, and we will definitely be sounding our praises about your store to friends and family. special thanks to Josh!!!!!!!! he rocked it with his tech knowledge

Store carry a good collection of brands where you can get the demo of several speakers. Only reason for giving 2stars is because of high installation costs. I asked for a quote to install 1 speaker and got a quote of around $600 which is ridiculous.I finally did it myself in 30 mins.

I have made three stereo purchases here in the past year and my consultant really listened to my goals, he goes by Audio Al. We started with bookshelf speakers, then an amp and recently added a subwoofer. Each time Al took the time to see what I was hoping to accomplish and my listening preferences. I took the time to research and confirm things and Al nailed it each time. His depth of knowledge is an asset and he sincerely wanted me to be comfortable with my decisions. Highly recommended.
