An awesome little park, within close proximity, that has it all. Pristine lakes for canoing, kayaking or fishing. Only $2 per car. Activities include archery, bmx riding/racing, horse arena, bird watching, fishing, jogging trail, bike trail, walking trails, bird shelters, picnic areas, cooking grills, bathrooms and a couple of kids playgrounds. Canoe rental is $25. There is a boat ramp for those who want to fish the big lake. A wonderful place to exercise, relax, play, laze around, fish, celebrate birthdays or have work parties (no alcohol). Usually open during daylight hours, currently 8am to 7pm. Very well kept and clean.

Second family get together at this park. Really peaceful and they have clean restrooms. There are pavilions as well as shaded picnic tables. Noticed some guests horse back riding (which is offered by the park). There's plenty of open spaces and a park for the kids. We saw many others enjoying the walking trails. This park also offers canoe rentals, archery, BMX, and A/C tracks. We will return. There's a 2.00 entrance fee.

As an avid hiker, Lake Park does not seem to have that much to offer. The view to the lakes are blocked off by trees, limiting the view to the path by itself. The most beautiful places we found along the driving areas. If you're into training along the view, excellent equipment is put along the route. There are good toilets at the stops with boat rental and playgrounds. All in all an OK place for a walk, but nothing special

Great place, so many things to do there. Went early in the morning and there was hardly anyone else there but by 10:00am it was getting busy. It's got a BMX track, horse arena,RC car track, archery range, a couple of playgrounds, canoe rentals, shelters picnic tables and trash cans all over, a small boat ramp (no gasoline motors),a couple of public restrooms and lots of open areas. The fitness trail has several pieces of work out equipment. There's more side trails yet to explore so I'll be back

The bmx track is very nice but not open to the public. The small track available to everyone is not as nice and often has many kids on it.
Sure. I've actually seen someone using one there before.
I have a small boat and never paid to launch it. There is only one ramp which is on Starvation Lake. No gas motors allowed. I love that because it eliminates oil and gas in the water and also jerks speeding around when you are fishing or canoeing.
Not sure sorry, I can't help. I think it might be.
Yes!
U got it
It is most likely first come first serve or you can call the parks and recreation department and inquir.
Yes, with leash. Lots of dog walkers enjoy the trails!
Plenty of parking. Near playgrounds, BMX tracks, rc track, and of course the nature trails.
I've seen a small one and a medium sized one in lake starvation way in the back. I have seen any others in the other lakes, but they could always be there.
No. There's a place off of Racetrack Road right by the Hillsborough County line that has horseback riding just cross over Hillsborough Avenue on Racetrack Road going south. Make the first left and it's on your left about a mile or so.
It is open. I saw people on it last week.
The park has a standard entry fee. The archery range is not extra
Not that I know of and I'm not from the area so I couldn't tell you
Not sure, check to see if its a public area, there are wells out there so I am not sure good luck
Oh ok ,any idea how much?
I dont know. I'd give it a try.
No
The park is always a $2 donation to enter.
Yes, but only small ones. Once they get to be a certain size they get relocated for public safety.
yes u can... their are three lakes u can kayak.. good fishing also...
Just the $2 per vehicle entrance fee (unless you rent a canoe or something else extra obviously).
If you call the number on the Lake Park website and leave a message asking about that, they'll call you back with details.
Yes, two dollars per vehicle - there is no charge if you enter either on foot or bicycle.
How do I rent the gazebo with the pavilion for a wedding?
I think all the parks are closed today.
$2.00 but i think it's free after 330pm. Park K closes at sunset
I highly doubt it, and it closes at sunset
