I will give the clinic a four-star. The front desk ladies and one of the tech girls were awesome! Great customer service! They were very friendly! The only person I found I little bit rude was Dr. Sarmiento. Now, I don't know if she was having a bad day but she made me feel like not a good mama fur. My dog had long nails (got hurt and the nail was not in the same place as the other one) and a small knot around his face and made me feel weird with her comments like I was pretty much neglecting my dog. Was my dog skinny? NO. Wounded? NO. Jacked up? NO! Anyways, her interaction with me was a little not cool. Plus, we go to the clinics to get things fixed, like trimming their nails and paying.

VCA Southside Animal Hospital is the worst from Ruby in the front office to the manager and vet. I took my puppy and never received a call from the vet with results. I called the office several times for about two weeks and requested for management to give me a call and never did. I finally got a call back from a different vet with results after my 100 time calling.

0 star rating!! I took my senior dog here to get a mass removed that had opened and all the doctor did was send us home with a $280 dollar skin antibiotic shot. I called to inform southside that it's getting worse, the doctor was about to give me another antibiotic, when I declined and said "tumors wont heal, this needs to be removed!!" So she told me she cant do it and to go somewhere else then ended the phone call. I have been with Southside for many years and I can honestly say that I'm extremely disappointed in VCA Southside Animal Hospital located on Central and Baseline. Ever since VCA bought it the service has changed for the worse. I wont be using them anymore. Or any other VCA locations because its obvious they are money hungry and dont care about the animals or clients. If they cared they would have helped my animal.

Excellent staff! Wish i would have found them 28 years ago! Great service, great price, and great people! Thank you all! Came back a second time! Only place better was in the 70's when my bro worked for a vet and all was free! Thank you all again 1/4/2022

If you have decent credit, They have an application for a credit card. You use it at the vet's office. Your cat needs to see a doctor. Good luck to you.

My dog lulu has an infected toenail on the left paw how much is the cost

I believe if you call them they can give you a quote. I think the office visit is about $60.00. And of course medicine and other treatments. Usually your average cost is going to be at least a hundred bucks.

I think my cat has an infection on the butt and I was wondering how much would it be to check up on it?

It varies. I'm not 100%on this but I think it's $35 for the office visit. Then depending on what else like medications or tests. They definitely go over what each thing costs. If you can't afford that the Az Humane Society offers clinics on Friday's. And or you can pick up antibiotic at feed stores called fish mox. It's basically amoxicillan. I had to cut open the capsule and divided up in 5 or six equal sized piles and put in her canned food. Best wishes to you and your cat.

Does anyone know if they have an avian vet to take a look at my lovebird?

I've been going there for years, I've never seen birds there. But there is a vet there that is very young who might. I'd call in the morning.
