This is my church. Helping ministries, school and worship are all functioning. Worship attendance (either inside or out on the playground) requires an online reservation because of capacity limits. Temperature checks, social distancing, hand sanitizing all being used. Being very careful. Online worship still available.

This is a beautiful church! The early members started the church in February of 1882. In 1893 the sanctuary was erected and cost only $4,500. From then on the this well known Lutheran church started to grow and bring people to Christ. I live down the street from St John's and I am still amazed by the beauty, quality of construction and size of this church. It is always clean too.

Don't try to take photos on their side stairs or side wall without first getting a permit. Imagine if the millions of tourists in Europe had to get permits to take photos in front of or inside the tens of thousands of churches in Europe!

Beutiful Church located just East of Old Town Orange. If you're already in Orange just take the walk down to Almond & Center.

Hi Susan, Every 4th Saturday St John’s Church distributes around 10,000 pounds of food beginning at 10:30 am until they run out. The food varies from fruits, vegetables, grains, canned goods, etc… whatever is delivered we give out. We do not ask for any documents or donations, we simply distribute what we have in our partnership with 2nd Harvest Food Bank.
Thanks Tim! Yes. Fourth Saturday is the day. If you are in need of fresh fruits and vegetables for your family, you are welcome to participate in our food distribution, which begins at 12:30pm. Please bring a cart, wagon, tote bag or something to transport your food items. Please know we will be unable to provide food before 12:30pm, so plan to arrive at St. John’s no earlier than 11:30am. Our distribution takes place on the corner of Shaffer Street and Almond Avenue, across the street from our office (154 S. Shaffer Street).
