Although a beautiful place, it isn't open to the public.

We went there after looking up on Google that the garden was open, however, when we got there we found out it was closed. You can see the garden from the outside and from a top view looking down which was ok. The entrance to the garden was a bit confusing to find, but I think the main entrance is through the building on the lower level. It wasn't until we entered the building and saw a sign saying the lower level of the building as well as the garden are closed. What's most frustrating is that we paid for parking, which finding a spot is already difficult enough to find, and then found out after searching a little bit that the garden was closed. Also, the garden looked pretty small so I think even 10 minutes or less of parking would do.

05/14/2021 - Have a good time to tour at James Irvine Japanese Garden inside Japanese American Cultural and Community Center (JACCC) in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. Enjoy serene beauty with the waterfall sounds, etc.
