I guess I am just confused. I am looking for a quality nail salon in the area and I called to make an appointment. I was told there is a mandatory $20 cash deposit for any new customers, not sure if this was real or not, but I have never heard of something like that. Even for high end nail salons. Could not make an appointment even though they accept walks in? Seemed off.

These nails are 3 days old. Spent $50 just to have gel nails for not even 3 full days. Not worth your money. Poor customer service as well. Don’t recommend it.

I went twice. But the second time, I was super disappointed with my technicians attitude towards how I like my nails. I like them long, always have. I had a dude, he was middle aged I’d say. The WHOLE time he kept laughing and saying “These are so long, won’t be able to do anything with these.” He would show the length of my nails to other clients and laugh at the length. Then go on to talk about it to the other technicians and laugh. I felt super bad about how I like my nails and I felt embarrassed. I went to the same nail salon for 3-4 years, the owners never once made comments like this. They were actually professional. I’ll keep going back to my original salon rather than Kaitlyn’s Nails. Salons should never talk down on their clients no matter what, you’re supposed to be professional. These technicians definitely weren’t, especially the guy because the 1st time I dealt with the same thing, just not as horrible. I don’t know if it’s because they only get elder folks in there that just get their nails painted and that’s it, and they just aren’t used to young adults going there and wanting something different and more “extra” I guess. But regardless, you’re supposed to be professional. This is your job, at least respect what your client’s want. If not, maybe find a new job/hobby.
