After being a loyal customer for years they didn’t want to cash a check with my name on it.

Just wanted to write a long overdue review for this amazing branch of OCCU - Anaheim, and in particular about Eddie R. He has always helped me and went above and beyond to fix issues that I encountered, always professional, very courteous and customer oriented. He was able to empathize with my personal turmoil and hardship and do whatever he could to help me out. I appreciate and thank him for his expertise and assistance. Also, I wanted to recognize the rest of the reps/tellers there (Gaby & I'm forgetting other names, I apologize), as they are also exceptional and have always gone above and beyond with their service. Thank you all.

Feels more like walking into a good friends place than a bank. My mom and I have been banking here for over 20 years and the service and attention to our needs has always been top rate. I'd recommend this institution for anyone.

I love banking with a credit union but since mine is up north, it can be a hassle to find one that'll take my money. I moved out to this area last year and had to start the process of locating the nearest credit union. This one isn't exactly close but it's close enough if I need to deposit a check here or there. This location is directly behind the Angel's stadium. Parking is plentiful. My last job was writing bad checks (hence why I quit and moved on) so I've been forced to deposit checks inside because the ATM wouldn't take them. Customer service is friendly and they were able to process everything for me given my situation.

You can be referred by a family member/significant other. Or can apply thru your employer. They charge a $5 fee, if i remember correctly.
Hello Christina. Yes, walk-ins are absolutely welcome! We look forward to serving you soon.
Hi Jose, in some cases yes. It really depends. For example, a payroll check is typically not placed on hold. I recommend you bring the check to your local branch so that they can give you a more accurate estimate.
Give your bank a call or go online
