Went down to the sheriffs department for a live scan and was told that because I was 4 minutes late to my appointment I would have to reschedule. No exceptions. After a 40 minute drive too…What an absolutely pathetic service. To call it public service would be a lie.

Pick and chooses whom to detain whom to speak to. We had an incident at work with kids throwing rocks at us. Following us to our car threatening us. Black kids and a black officer came out and didn't even speak to the kids. Took there side. Took a report and left. Nothing was done. She stated they're kids they can't do anything to them ever. Lol. Talk about having favoritism of race here.

Called 911 to report a break in. Trespassers were physically inside my condo. INSIDE!!! First unit showed up over an hour after my original call. Just enough time for the criminals to take a shower brush their teeth have some breakfast and watch some TV before they casually left my property with no consequences. (A Little sarcasm there about the criminals, but that’s the kind a time they had days on the response Time). They cleared the property, apologize, and we’re ready to go on their way. They did not even offer to take a statement, they did not offer to provide me a case number or incident number, unprofessional in my opinion

I have called for police assistance three times since moving to Moreno Valley 5 years ago, and each time my concerns are downplayed and made to seem as though they are not important. This last time, renters in my neighborhood were fighting in the street. The police officer said dismissive, condescending things such as "That's why you need to know your neighbors, nothing can be done if the disruptive neighbors don't want to talk to us, the liberal agenda is making it so that no one bats an eye when there is crime, ... "etc. He also said something to the effect of "you know how people get when they are drinking". I could hardly believe that he was trying to normalize that behavior! I then asked him if he would want people fighting in the middle of the street in front of his home and he admitted he would not. When I said I wanted to lodge a complaint, because I didn't appreciate being told to turn a blind eye, he became friendlier. I never had this lack of empathy and action from police officers in the previous city where I lived.

Call dispatch at the non emergency number and ask if there are other noise complaints in the area. Most times its only for a short time. 951-776-1099. Also, tomorrow call animal control to see if they have an suggestions on how to help your dog during fireworks. My dogs used to freak out. As long as they were in the house with us. Next to us, it helped alot.
Call 911 and tell them your roommate is refusing to allow you to leave. it’s is illegal to try to stop someone from leaving you can’t hold people against their will and a car blocking yours is holding you
Call 911 and report the plates (if you remember or got a picture of them) and car model. That's the best immediate action. Otherwise, you will need to report it in person and give a witness/victim of crime statement of the incident.
Call PD/911 to have a risk assessment done for that person's safety/have PD do a welfare check on that person.
Yes officers use their private cell phones because there are no phones in police cars.

No - and in Moreno Valley you are allowed to play music as loud as you please until as late as you want. That’s been my experience since living in this neighborhood anyway. The people right behind me do it all the time.
I have three neighbors all around me with dogs barking all day and all night. No one seems to have a problem with this so unfortunately I don’t think your chances of resolving the situation are very good.

Here where I live comes at night with four motorcycles and get into the land that is empty and make a lot of disorder in the afternoons that I can get because sometimes come late and throw away the garbage and everything? Here will you report this?
