April 1st, my car was stolen. Literally 10 minutes later, Officer Perez spotted the vehicle and pursued, along with other officers and a helicopter, up to speeds of 120 mph. The suspect took them on the 74 east bound all the way to Hemet, where the Hemet PD refused to assist Menifee PD in the pursuit. Finally the guy jumped out of the vehicle and entered a local business where he was apprehended and taken away, hopefully for awhile. If Officer Perez hadn't spotted the vehicle so swiftly, my car most likely wouldn't of been recovered in the condition it was. In times like these, where it's almost fashionable to bash cops on social media and other platforms, they are never recognized and held in a higher regard, as many of them should be. If you're one of those sheep cop bashers, understand one thing. There are many exemplary officers out there. Quit the hive mind and think for yourself.Its pathetic...Thank you to the Menifee PD in helping me get my vehicle back. I don't know about you, but I can't afford to have my property stolen...THANKS!!!!!!

Officer berry pulled me over for going over the speed limit on Newport. (He was on a motor unit) The only problem was the speed limit was not posted, which the officer acknowledged. He said you’re getting a ticket anyway. I had to take off work. Find a babysitter for my daughter bc I work from home. It was a complete inconvenience. I went to court and they dropped my case as soon as the officer saw that I showed up to dispute it. This is ridiculous. I feel like I was taken advantage of in hopes that I wouldn’t show up. In which I’d have to pay. Instead I had to borrow money to “post bail” in order to have it returned after this huge hassle. I waited To post this until I moved out of the area, in fear of retaliation. Wish there was some sort of professionalism or oversight. Nothing I can do but post a comment and pay my taxes like everyone else. I will definitely stay away from menifee.

officer Thomas Perez assisted my husband and me with an incident report regarding a neighbor. He was so professional and listened to our complaint and spent time with us. Then asked if we wanted him to speak to our neighbor which we did and came back and talked to us some more. We felt very relaxed with Officer Perez and he explained quite a few things to us. We had heard that Menifee police dept is excellent, and although we weren’t looking for an excuse to call and verify, we came away with a lot of respect for him and how he handles himself as a “peace officer”. Hopefully, no more incident reports!

Called a couple months back. Dispatcher I spoke to was very unprofessional. Had to constantly repeat myself eventhough I gave them all the information on the first go. Gave attitude and I can feel the eye roll on the otherside of the phone call. This wasn't an overly complicated call. Suspicious activity and car break in's lately. Called a second time last night for the same suspicious activity and was hung up on after waiting for what felt like 10 minutes for someone to pickup. Good to know the communities reviews are being taken seriously on here. Clearly there's a problem and when a real emergency happens we won't be able to count on our own police department to do anything about it.
