I moved in July 2021 and wanted to give it a little time before submitting a review. I really love living here. I love the layout of my apartment, as it has a lot of storage space. It's quiet and everyone that lives here is very friendly and courteous. There are so many amenities here: pool, hot tub, gym, tennis court, basketball court, volley ball court, elevators, spa and a game room. It's a safe area and complex, as you have to have a key to enter. I'm really happy I chose Springdale Villas.

They actually upcharge all of their rooms so when you submit your deposit with the application fee, you are not applying for the price they advertise. For example: the Model A in which I'd applied was listed $1,125 but was in fact the cost of their Model B at $1,546. So they're income requirement was almost triple what I'd initially been told when applying; $5k. They're just another apartment that scams people of their waitlist to get application-fee money. The communication between staff was absolutely horrid, and places like this shouldn't have so many third-parties making decisions for the lack of communication thereof on the initial agreement that was supposed to be set.

So my husband and I moved into this place because as most people, we thought it's rent pricing was great in comparison to most communities in the area. We lived there for 2 years. In our time some of the pros were that they had an elevator (although it was out of order several times), its tennis court and gym. However, the cons were as follows: we had two separate periods of rats, roaches, broken screen doors, drug dealers, loud neighbors and the quality of the paint, carpets and doors. The worst things we learned about this place were that 1. not all apartment communities insist on a 30-day notice prior to leaving, but this one does and if not provided you will pay 75% more on the month-to-month rate for whatever amount of days you will be stay prior to leaving. This of course is at the responsibility of the tenant and I realize this. However, we did pay a total 1,119 for 12 days, that we did not actually reside there. 2. If you have ever stayed in an apartment community, you know that they replace several things to fix the apartment before the new tenants. Things like carpets, countertops and window. Well that is normal and typically not charged to current tenants as they do that regardless. Also anything out of normal wear and tear (such as broken mirrors) are taken out of what you pay for the deposit. Well let me tell you, Springdale makes you pay for all the renovations that must be done prior to the new tenants coming in. They will mail these charges to you and if unpaid prior to 20 (yes 20) days, they send you to collection. All-in-all, we have lived at 3 communities prior to this place, and this place by far had the most hidden fees not told to you upfront. It is cheap-yes, however that money will be paid in some way shape or form here. Personally, I would not reside here it is not worth your money and/or stress.

I have been living here for almost 10 years and i absolutely love this place. Anytime I have a question, request or problem the management is fast to help. Marilyn the apartment manager is so friendly, she even has doggie treats for the fur babies when they come into the office. The office staff is always smiling and welcoming. The maintenance of the grounds is spectacular. The grass is always green and the little stream and bridges by the tennis courts is a beautiful area to walk your dogs. They even have bags to pick up your dogs mess. All the amenities make this complex one of the best I have ever lived at. I can't thank everyone enough for making this apartment my favorite place to live.
