Horrible service, extremely rude, don't know their information. Go in with one form and come out with different information every time. Extremely biased against fathers with primary custody. They have a nice office so obviously their funding is going to cosmetic uses and not actual well trained and competent employees

This is horrible! How is it that you can update how to get your money and interests fees but can't update your website? It's been 6 years I've been trying to get a pin for my case and every single time it gives me the 10 day prompt and have never gotten a pin! I can't get no info on statements on my case and its been 16 years but they sure can send notices when your are due or late! I call and no answer. They do not try to help or guide anyone but just get interest and their cut. The system is so wrong for this! This has been the lowest of customer service I have experienced in my life!

Why do they charge you % money for you to pay child support this is wrong. Some many thing I like to say about how they run this but why it waste of time. The system need to be fixed back not charging for you to make a payment.

I've had the most horrific experience you cannot get a hold of anyone via phone or email, NOONE replies! I've paid more than what I was ordered to pay and have the receipts to prove it but x lied and said she never got it and they garnished to take my tax return. I've been fighting this for the last 4 years. IF I COULD GIVE IT A 0 I WOULD!!!! THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!

Don't be fooled by their threats and lies they will try to scare you with. Learn about seperation of powers doctrine, due process clause, what is required to bring suit on you person (proper standing requirements), contract law, what your Constitutional right are, you God given rights, civil law, title 4-d of the social security act, federal grants and incentives that drive them extort you, involuntary servitude, and the list goes on. They are taking advantage that you don't know any of your rights. How you don't know that they aren't interested in your childs best interest but their own, how you don't know that there's no such thing as child support and they are just a debt collector treating you as a If your kids were on welfare , how it's not positive law and on and on. Either educate yourself and see what the truth is or don't and pay until you are sucked dry and robbed of being the best father you could to your children. I'm in this with you brother
Usually the county will work with the claimed new father and perform dna test come into our office at 2081 iowa and ask our cust svc agents 8 - 500
They weren't supposed to keep it going.Child support is based on earned income. And if they sent letters to the prison? They knew you were unable to work and provide which gave you ZERO EARNED INCOME.. Take your prison papers that show your intake date and your out date to the courts(child support)And they will have to acknowledge all the time you had no earned income.
When I had my kids living with me I didn't ask for nothing from my ex then she says please let me live with them for a while then she slaps me with child support! Lol I couldn't believe it nice guys do get screwed but then they denied her full custody due to me the father being a great dad who does spend time and pays regardless ...what goes around comes around...God is good!
Go to the welfare dept. Best of luck.
I would head into the office and ask a case worker and it sounds like she may be committing tax fraud
You can re-open case any time
call and wait on hold for 5 hours to be able to leave a voicemail, or go in and wait for 5 hours to leave a message for your caseworker.. either way expect it to be a day wasted, and a week waiting for a response of them telling u they don't know and sit by your mailbox.
Does your mom have a court order for child support? You wouldn't receive the money, only your mother would
I think it happens automatically if you don't owe back child support.
The money isn't owed to me, its owed to the state or county so I'm not even sure what agency wants to collect this and how im able to report the person's whereabouts
As far as I've seen working there you can open and close the case as many times as they like
Im not positive but you can at 711 i think on the website it will tell you where you can
We have facilitators at 2041 iowa office riv ca 92507 tues thur that will answer any questions from 830 to 500
Not real sure call eight six six 901-3212 and they'll give you an answer
You can request for modification thru child support agency or thru family law court downtown
Yes, you can. Child Support might have to review to ensure paternity has been established since he was in jail when your daughter was born. They will also have to make sure that CA has jurisdiction. Also, if there isn't an existing order, the support will be from when you file forward, not back dated. Hope this helps.
No - Mon Wed Fri have extra person there to answer any information you may need or question answered
Here free legal advice... Don't talk to the child support personal. They'll lure you into being a customer... Before you know it, BAM! ....They got you
You sure that's not back support that you may not have paid before like she said the one above response call eight six six 901 three two one two be hypothetical about it and just ask out of the blue what if I have a kid this age in I've been owing but know how much you might have what they call is arrears just back pay
Contact dept 1-866-901-3212 to speak with the worker to make a payment arrangements
You will need to pay until the order has been closed.
It should stop at 19. You need to call them. Unless you made other arrangements...?
Call the case worker to find out why?
Thanks Silvia. He already did. I'm in texas
Just that . it maybe closed but can always be reopened if she so chooses to
You have to go to family court
What kind of answer is that mean spring nothing
Not sure how much they charge, but you can get your own at rite aid and cvs
Child visitation is a totally separate issue from child support.
No because your wife's income has nothing to do with the child. My father tried doing the same to my mom. It didnt work. You made that child not your new bride.
Pay for child support, and lost cdl, can i just give 50 dollars a month if i walk in agency
You'll pay it, don't worry man...your lucky you have those payments and that amount in arrears.... just stay on top of it, good luck.
Get there at 3 pm to be safe
He has to be properly personally Served with our Summons n Complaints. ..after so many attempts, we can sub-serve his family members (18 yrs or older) or co- workers...keep his home and work address current so that he can be properly served.
Go to the office & speak with a case worker.
Yes. And if for some reason he refuses to pay, DCSS will issue a wage assignment (if you open a case) order to enforce the court order (provided there's one in place otherwise they will obtain an order themselves) which they'll submit to the SSA office. SSA will garnish his monthly benefit payment BEFORE issuing any funds to him. Social Security can only enforce garnishments/wage assignments from the IRS and Child Support agencies.
Up to the middle.
No...only if custodial parent is deceased, even then adult child has to go to court for payee change
830-5 hours family law facilitators are here Tuesdays and Thursdays 8 to 4
It's only on certain dates, not day's.... It's best just to go in and ask..or you can call & they will tell you...or you can go to the Sel Help Center in downtown, across the street from county jail.
Claim financial hardship and explain your situation.
I think it's Joan Burgess
Go to your local Child Support Office, there's one off Iowa in Riverside, & then find out the date when the self-help classes are held. Also try out the building North of the county jail, right across the street, sorry forgot the address... They also have lawyer's that will explain how to do it...for free!
Go to court and ask the judge to reduce the child support amount due to your expenses you have to convince the judge that you have your own expenses. Take proof of all your monthly payments
Yes even took my unemployment benefits to pay for child support
Talk to your social worker
Contact the DCSS office or your worker and see what arrangements you can make to pay what is obviously back child support you owe. They will lift your suspension was you've entered into an agreement and signed all the appropriate paperwork.
Go to your local Child Support office, on a day that they offer the self help classes. The volunteers Will help you.
If you didn't get it modified, yes... But I'm thinking there is one or two types of documents you can file with the courts to see if the judge can reduce or dismiss it for the time you where incarcerated. Get the self help class at the child support office!!!
Not too sure.. I have usually went between 3 & 4pm to be safe, I think they close at 5pm?
