First time going to this location and I must say for not having an appointment I got in and out within 15mins tops. Not only was I surprised with the time frame I was in there for, but the service I received from the clerk, a gentleman by the name of Robert was great. He was very informative, assisted me with respect and very efficient. The security officer Mr. Aragon was doing an amazing job keeping everyone in line and allowing certain amount of people in due to regulations of course. It was a great experience for me.

I use my lunch break to update SSN. Everything was fast and great, no appointment needed. The policeman was received and greeted and guided me quickly. The officer handling my case was also very prompt and didn't take much time. I finished everything in 15 minutes and got back to work without delay. This is a great experience here. 👍🏻

I went in here to replace my son’s SS card. Like any govt run facility, I was dreading the wait time and the process. But, I couldn’t have been more pleased with my visit. I was greeted by a very friendly and pleasant fellow at the door who supplied me a mask (which I didn’t have) and gave me helpful instructions as I walked in. I proceeded to the kiosk to get my ticket, and waited about 10-15 minutes for the next available service rep. The rep was also extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating, and was able to process my request in minutes. I was in and out on a Wednesday morning in under 30 minutes without an appointment…Fantastically run and a pleasant experience. Thank you social security!

Was in and out in a matter of 1 hour and 15 mins. They reopened the offices since they closed becayse of covid and I expected it to be worse. Both security guards were helpful and explaining the directions. Only issue I saw were those that didn't speak English, it was hard for security to understand each other. Process is pretty simple for people who don't have appointments. You wait in the outside line to be able to go inside to the kiosk to get a ticket. Once you obtain a ticket, you wait outside until your number is called. Seating inside is very limited due to COVID, 10 person maximum. So do not expect to be sitting while you are waiting. They are still practicing social distancing also, inside and outside so expect that also Typically seats inside open up and the security will let you know, but it's more for the elderly. Bring a lawn chair and wait outside.

I would like to make an appointment to see social security worker to apply for medicare
I would like to make an appointment for a new social security caRd for tomorrow at 11 00
When I was there they suggested a appointment. But none were available. We were there too early to apply for SS retirement benefits. I’m going to apply online. Then they will call me for a appointment to bring in the documents. I prefer to walk in. The lobby was full when I walked out. One hour before closing. They open up more windows to get people serviced.
You have to call the number to the office you will go to and make appointment. Fill out necessary forms online.
Call them or go online
Asking questions on anybodies behalf is fine but the answers has to be from the beneficiary of benefits. You probably can get authorization from family attorney once she accepts your participation via Power of Attorney. Also she should get Social Services to provide a care giver if she is disabled!
You can order a new one but you need to go to the Social Security office in person to prove your ID. There is a life time limit to how many times you can order a card. Ask them I do not work for them. My information is several years old so verify at the SSA office.
You have to call their phone number. It is very hard to get an appointment. We tried to get one while we were there. The worker was unable to get us a appointment.
Go down with a route and account number and change it. There is one on Gilbert in Gardena Grove by Walmart
I did not. But I went around 945 and was in and out. 👍👍 Incredible staff
You need to make an appointment or use the drop box out front. Can't enter the building without an appointment.
You currently can call the office but depending what you need most request are done via mail but you have to call the office and they will direct you on the requirements for your request.
I made an appointment and went into the office. You can also do it online
Contact their customer service to make an appointment to update your new name. Then they will send you a new card with your new name. You dont need to close your current bank acc.
At the Garden Grove office they have a phone number to call and talk to someone
Call your local Social Security office and make an apptmt, it was quick and easy for me. They were really helpful.

You can call and make an appointment be your best bet you walk in but you probably have to wait hope this helps you
When you walk in there is a door man to assist you on getting your questions answered. He'll direct you to sign in on the kiosk to get a number, then you will 1st be called up to an appointment window who will assign you to whatever department you need to speak with and enter you into their call log, then you'll wait for that department to call your number.
On their website under Contact Us is the option and instructions to make an appointment. You'll have to call the number on the link below and the representative will ask you questions as to what you need and will set the appointment or they will send a message to the appropriate department for your need and they will call you to give you an appointment time. https://faq.ssa.gov/en-us/Topic/article/KA-02771

Federal payments can normally be delayed for new accounts. Probably after midweek of your birthday week. Past Wednesday and forward.
Apply 2 months before your birthday.
