Why do I need my drivers license, multiple forms from social security (because my social security card isn't good enough), W2, utility bills, rent or mortgage evidence and my birth certificate if I worked in a different state for 2 months?

A bunch of absolutely unprofessional people who cannot decide a regular simple problem in their unprofessionally made system for a half a year, hiding behind an automated phone system! Most of them are rude and pretend being extremely busy Doing Nothing! Disappointment in the system and waste of money for their salaries. The agency is absolutely not ready for such situations as Covid, which actually shows to an unprofessional management! Useless unprofessional agency!

It is truly a shame that during a crisis like this the main agency that should be functional and running properly is failing to meet basic common sense steps. If you have a call center that is open for only 4hrs a day and you won't even allow people to wait in a que you just automatically hang up. How in the world am I suppose to ask questions to a tape recorder. I am person that has to file from 2 states. I can't even complete my application online I am literally directed to call the center and then i get a hang up. I'm in limbo fighting to receive money not only that I need but I am entitled to. This should be criminal.

Some guy gave me wrong info and told me that this place is Unemployment. I came in to find out that they are a dif branch of EDD. They were nice enough to give me the instructions to file for unemployment though. Come here if you are looking for jobs.

Yes
Unfortunately not. If u made wages in a dif state within the past 18 months, more than likely u ll have to file for unemployment in that state. I don't know how btw. Sorry.
