I have been coming to Kiss the Cook for over 25 yrs. This downtown Glendale establishment is like you are stepping into the past. The place is decorated with vintage items & the food is served on mismatched China dishes. The food's quality is top notch. They have been featured on Diner's Drive it's & Dives. Be willing to wait especially on the weekends there is always a wait list. Don't get discouraged it will be worth the wait. All the staff treat you like family. It is apparent when you see all the customers that they know by name. My go to menu item for breakfast is the Jalapeño Popper Egg Benedict . This is a new addition to the menu. Also you can never go wrong with the Pecan Cinnamon Roll. After your belly is satisfied and your falling asleep from food coma the check is delivered with Hersey kisses . ( Super cute it plays of the name.) I highly recommend to anyone to visit this restaurant and see what all the hype is about.

This is an always delicious breakfast and lunch spot in Glendale, celebrating 40 years in business and they are NOT a chain. House specialties include a homemade cinnamon roll drenched in caramel and pecan sauce, superb pancakes, brioche French toast, waffles and to-die-for biscuits and homemade sausage cream gravy... seriously the best we've had anywhere. A "Baker's Basket" of homemade mini muffins accompany many of the breakfasts, including yummy zucchini muffins. Made to order omelets, thick cut apple smoked bacon, eggs Benedict, homemade pie, fresh squeezed juice.... obviously, I could go on and on...they never disappoint!!

Super delicious French toast and I loved the homemade sausage turkey. My son got two eggs with the homemade sausage turkey. The food was perfect the coffee was amazing.

Good food and service. It was my first time here and it didnt disappoint. What was a bummer for me is they didnt have the steak, my favorite breakfast meal. Apparently is not the only restaurant suffering from the shortage of meat at good prices. Btw, our server Maggie was awesome, very attentive.

Kiss the Cook makes the best Eggs Benedict better than any other breakfast place in AZ. I know, I have gone to alot of breakfast places here in Phx to compare.. Best waffles, pancakes too.
No they don't But the rest of the menu is great.
It is a sausage gravy but they do have vegetarian options. Their house potatos and greens are to die for and the muffins.... Get the muffins.
They sit customers 6 inches apart and the employees wear face masks and they always clean and sanitize .
Yes, a very busy place, great food, never disapointed in 30 yrs...
Very limited options
It is dog friendly. They will let you sit on the patio with a dog. They have dog treats that you can buy. They will also give your dog water.
