Just spoke to "Kathy" in the civil department and she was so aggressive and rude, I did my best to keep calm ( I would NEVER allow this) and she just kept saying "you don't know how to listen" I'm so upset, I did listen to her and was calm, when she finished her yelling, I would calmly start speaking and she would interrupt me and kept being rude.

The process went smoothly once I got to court but filing all the paperwork was painful. Check out getdispute.com if you want to save yourself a major headache preparing documents.
Exposing Scammers
Dept P judge Elaine Mandel is an absolute nightmare, if you get assigned to her as the judge on you’re case immediately file 170.6 with the clerk to get her off you’re case! Her judicial clerk Priscilla N Anyanker is the most hostile, rudest and angry person I have ever seen! She and her boss Mandel are a train wreck that need to be removed from the Santa Monica court house ASAP if they want to have a chance to be regarded as a professional And fair court house!

I’m giving the ticket customer service 2 but it deserves a 1. I called regarding taking care of a ticket before the due date. The first call was a pleasant lady who gave me all my Options. I needed to call back a month later to clarify some correspondence I received in the mail that I did not understand. I called twice and the reps were mean and rude. They act like I did something personally to them. Extremely bad customer service. I rated a 2 just because of the First Lady.

I have a traffic ticket, I was able to request for an extension online. I'm not sure what the purpose is for your court appointment but you try looking online to see if you can look for your case and getting an extension on it.

My advice is just to leave that person behind. Or medicate them. HEAVILY. Save some for me. Also: DO you have a question?

Seriously doubt that! You are to be removed from all outer influence! And all recording devices are to be removed from Courthouses!

It depends on how long ago you changed your name. You should be able to go to the court's website lacourt.org to request a certified copy of the original. They cost $25.50 each. Certified Copies are $40 each. The price went up 1/1/20.
It depends on if you are going to plead guilty and pay the fine or plead not guilty and request a trial date. December 2 is the last day to make that choice. Go to the traffic window out front and tell them what you want to do. Remember December 2 is the LAST day to make an appointment with the court.
Get over to the court house ASAP
Fax filing is no longer permitted. All filings should be e-filed. Go to the court's website, lacourt.org for further instructions.
