We had way more fun than expected coming here to pick strawberries. I hadn’t done a ton of research before going, so it was all a surprise but if you are, here’s a few notes— $14 entry fee (very odd for U-Pick’s, but if you have a kid or are a kid at heart, the activities and animals are worth it), the fields are not very large and even though I thought we came right at the height of strawberry picking season, we were only able to pick 1.5 lbs of small, dense and slightly green strawberries. Not to say we didn’t fully enjoy the experience, but be aware you may not leave with a lot. If you’re into taking pictures, especially picturesque IG photos, this is the spot! So many cute rustic backdrops and interactive things with which to take photos. We will definitely be coming back for their festivals and other fruit seasons.

I have been driving up-and-down From Phoenix for over 20 years to visit my parents in Prescott. I have always seen the pumpkin patch the Christmas trees for sale you name it. But I've never stopped here. After today anytime I go camping or 4 wheeling up there, I will get my meat and products from there because it's all grown and raised naturally from that farm. The meat just looks so much fresher than frys, trader Joe's I don't care. They will have my business and I'm telling all of you about it😅👍

I have lived in Prescott Valley forever and this was my first time visiting Mortimer Farms. I instantly regretted the time I waisted by not going all these years!!! My family and I had the best experience throughout the day. Free hay rides to $5 pony rides. Bring ur camera to remember every memory 🚜🐖👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

This farm was so FUN! The store had really cute items. Pick your own berries of every kind! So many activities to do for all ages.We spent 4 hours there and still didn't get to all the attractions. But we will be back. We had babies toddlers and adults in our group. Don't be discouraged at the parking lot-it was allot easier to find parking than I thought it would be. There were port-a-pottys throughout the area not hard to find or long lines at all. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. Great fun at a great price!

Questions & Answers

Why not leave two rows for the public to pick strawberrys instead of your pickers picking all of them. If you have two giant signs that say pick your own strawberrys then you should leave some to pick. Two rows.

Good evening! Growing strawberries and blackberries depends so much on the elements and greatly on the amount of people that come and pick on the farm! We cannot control how fast the berries replenish or even how many people come each day and how much they pick. With this being said there are days that there are not many berries however, when this is the case we still invite our guests into our u-pick garden and the berry patches that do have berries to pick! Thank you for your comment! We really love having people come out to The Farm to learn about where their food is grown and have a chance to harvest for themselves! It is such a great sight! Especially to see the kiddos come and have a farm experience! Hope to see you again soon! WE HVE BILLIONS OF BLACKBERRIES AND STRAWBERRIES RIGHT NOW!!

Is it organic strawberries and veges?

I don't know if it's organic or not but they sure are delicious and there's something to be said about picking your own fruits and vegetables. I got some tomatillos there to make tomatillo hot sauce or whatever and they were awesome as well. Their meat is a little expensive, definitely more than I wanted to pay and seemingly a little more expensive than the grocery store but it was a nice place and definitely worth the visit. Take your kids there if you have any to get pumpkins for Halloween. I've been there before for that and although it's a little disappointing that you don't get to pick those off the vine it was still nice
