A friendly farm with a wide variety of produce, welcoming patrons to pick their own (specified) produce or purchase items from their market. I loved the open setting, found their rates quite economical and the whole experience quite relaxing. It was the pick your own peach and blueberry time when i visited; found the peaches to be exceptionally sweet and blueberries more flavorful than any I’ve bought at a store. If Justin Bieber discovered this farm, he’d be pressed to update lyrics and insert Pennsylvania in lieu of Georgia.

Love this berry farm. We picked blueberries and blackberries. We brought our own containers from home, and they had to be weighed before we picked so they can accurately calculate what we bought. Signs said they had containers you could buy if you forgot to bring your own. The staff were all so kind, friendly, and helpful and they showed us where we could do our picking. They also have other fruits and veggies like corn, cabbage, peppers, plums, peaches, great beans, corn, cantaloupe... They only accept cash, so come prepared. This is an excellent place to pick berries with your kids, too.

I enjoyed picking blueberries and raspberries right of the bush. You can not get any fresher than this. They also sell other produce that is not PYO, which also tastes super fresh. I thought it was a really good price for the quality of produce and I definitely want to go again :)

There is nothing as good as fresh, locally grown, produce. George Schmidt Berry Farm not only has delicious berries they grow, but they also have fresh fruits and vegetables from other local farms. Great prices, friendly service and delicious locally grown produce. Well worth the trip.
