Robert is my guy. Gives me a nice fade and makes me look clean every time. Straight up just tell him to do his thing. He saw the style of my hair and he did his thing. Both times I came here I’m been satisfied. I’m happy to call this place my main spot for my haircut.

Decided to take my son after reading a few reviews. However my experience was very unpleasant! I called to inquire about availability. They told me it was walk in only. So I arrived and was 4th on a list that they paid no attention too. Several people were seen before us and even a lady who walked on about an hour afterwards stating she had an appointment. It was very frustrating and a big waste of time. Wish they were more consistent and professional. Not sure why there is a sign up sheet if its not going be honored. No one gave us updates as when we were next or estimated wait time.

I was thoroughly impressed with this barbershop. The atmosphere here is amazing. Makes it feel like you have stepped into a barbershop within the projects of Chicago with that earthy neighborhood feel with pop/soul music playing at just the right level. Although it has established itself as an African American cultured shop I felt at home. Everybody working here has that brotherhood amongst themselves and no bickering amongst them. Would I go again... for life! Awesome establishment and a special shout out to Trez my barber, awesome man with a feel for his gift in hair cutting. Not all barbers have reached his level, hopefully they inspire to.
