I started using the outside pool a month ago after moving back to socal from the Bay Area. I grew up in LBC where I used the indoor pool way back when. I am glad to be back though using public pools again to train. This pool is convenient and easy to get to. The downside is that it can get very crowded where 4 people share the same lane. I think the best time to go is Tuesday and Thursday 7p-9p. Better if you show up at 8p where the pool exercise is over and extra lanes are opened for lap swim.

Yes there is water aerobics for seniors. Depending on whether you prefer deep or shallow water- the deep class is MWF & Sun mornings at 10am. The shallow (3'-5') classes are at 11am. They are 50 minutes long, and you'll have to contact LB Parks & Recreation regarding prices. You 'll also have to register beforehand at the main office located at the pool. Bring photo ID and they'll give you a form to fill out and once complete they give you a plastic card that you'll bring with you to enter the pool for the class you participate in, they'll explain everything to you. Good luck!

You can take them to swim, if they can't pass a swim test they will need to stay in the shallow end.
There are bleacher benches. It's not a pool to lounge around and relax. It's excellent for athletic training and improving your swim
Pool office, near the parking lot
Sorry I don't know. You might be able to find out by googling it.
Lane assignments will happen on the day and time of your registered lap swim.
There are no lockers at the pool, restroom and shower facilities are outside the pool deck. The best bet is to keep your personal effects in your car and take just what you need on the pool deck.
Not sure, but I think it is ok
I don't know if they rent the pool for birthday parties. Please call them. If not possible, I think you can rent the McGaugh pool in Seal Beach, contact Seal Beach Recreation department.
Yes, they are in a trailer just outside the gates, they'll give you a code to get in once you've paid
