I had family visiting, and I took them to dinner at Chesty's. It was not as nice as the Leatherneck, but it was very relaxing, a good meal, and a great view. It was a bit pricey, but I guess it was similar to other restaurants in The City. I am VERY pleased that there is a place for military, in an expensive city.

A couple blocks away from union square. The hotel is beautiful. It is part living memorial and the history of the 96 year old building is nice to see. Walking distance to a handful of good places to eat. My son and I had a great time.

Stayed here two nights and I'm glad we found this little gem. Great place that is well run with nice perks. Breakfast and happy hour are included. Friendly staff and most of all I enjoyed the tribute to the service men and women of the Marines. Loved seeing the history spread throughout the hotel.

They have an arrangement with the Olympic Club parking garage. Last time it was about $38 a day i think.
There's a parking garage next door, but depending on how many people are driving to your wedding, it might not be enough space (though other larger garages exist a few blocks away, too). You might want to recommend guests with cars take transit into the city, or keep their autos parked at their hotels and take a Lyft or Uber to the wedding; then they don't have to worry about designated drivers, either. Talk to one of the hotel's event coordinators, they should be able to give you the best advice.
FYI, the walk from Powell BART station to MMC is all uphill, and through a tourist-heavy area. If you are carrying luggage, you may want to walk to a nearby street corner and get a cab/Lyft/Uber to pick you up.
Don't know, I was just a guest.
5p-9p, Tuesday thru Saturday.
The Olympic parking lot further up the same block. The hotel personnel will direct you there.
You can sign up at the front desk when you check in with an active duty military ID or dd214. You can also mail in an application.
