Managers special was a smothered burger patty which was awesome, decor was awesome... Staff were awesome! The 70's lounge look is what brought us in. The food didn't disappoint. Would go back. The actual lounge next door is a hit also

The El Camino is a classic New Mexican diner. The food is very authentic, the kind of Mexican food you can't get anywhere else in the US. The pie is also delicious! Highly recommended anytime

Excellent chile rellenos and green chile, friendly waitresses, and super cool, clean retro vibe. But it's the real deal retro. My new favorite spot.

French toast was mostly burnt. Customer service was pretty bad. There was incomplete orders as well. The sign upfront is also unnecessarily political, but it’s a private restaurant so I’m not going to take up too serious of an issue with that.

Open 24 hrs so sometimes it can be slower and less than perfect, but the food has always been good and the service is of course dependent on who is working that day. Be clear about how you want it cooked and what you want with it. If you don't want cheese or if you are not sure how its cooked don't forget to say something. Been going there for years and i recommend the chicken fajitas w/guacamole and the green chile potato soup on Sundays. Coffee better than most. Samon, trout, greek chicken and big salads muy bueno too. Have to give the cooks high marks as they are really fine most of the time. Senior discount is good too. All in all its the best in town. Park your bigger rigs in back. If its busy walk to the back and see if you have plenty of room to turn, most of the time its got lots of space. For good Mexican food Sofia's in Socorro is also good.
