Their screening process is excessive and they take days to respond with even more questions, such as whether we're home owners. Not renters, owners. I'm sorry, I make good money but I'm not wealthy enough to own a home in one of the most expensive areas to own a home on earth. I work and did not get any inheritance or other unfair advantages, so that precludes me from getting a cat? A weird follow up question to ask days later, regardless. I just went to another humane society and they hardly even asked questions and the foster parents were personable. There could be middle ground.

What a great place! The animals here are so fortunate to be in this amazing home with humans who truly care for them. Many have traumatic stories from before they lived here but their lives now are full of love and the best care. The humans who work here,, and the volunteers are incredible. Such a worthy charity to sponsor, Jameson Humane.

I am very disappointed in your lack of common courtesy. I made phone calls, left emails in my efforts to find a forever home for an elderly horse. I understand that you cannot accept all requests, but you could have let me know in some manner. I did receive one email stating I would be contacted. I"m still waiting! No need or situation is unimportant. All animals matter. I just wanted a forever home this creature to spend his remaining days.

There aren't enough words to say how amazing they are. They went above and beyond to help me get my St. Bernard 2 wonderful people to temporarily foster while I was in the hospital. You try doing that in a state that is not big dog friendly at all! A year later I'm still friends with both foster mom's. Jameson Rescue Ranch also gave me a $250 grant to use at the vet because I wanted my baby girl to get all shots before I sent her anywhere. Since I recently moved here from NY and didn't really know anyone, they also helped me with connections around Napa to help with other personal situations. Also the reason I knew about them is from a few months earlier they transported my roommates dogs back to the east coast for free! Again amazing people who really do care, and that will do whatever it takes to make sure that you and your animal get what's needed.
