Great park for a picnic. Lots of tables, both in the sun and the shade. Plenty of restrooms as well. And a big play area, but we didn't use it :)

Gorgeous park with beautiful playground, trees and setting. Lots of people walking the perimeter with & without dogs. Dog owners let their dogs off leash & they chase the squirrels. That's not right & they dont correct their animals.

I'd say a half mile is accurate. However if you walk inside you'll loose all sence of time walking among the redwoods, and watching crows, and squirrels looking for food. I love it, and often find myself at peace. Enjoy!
