I called on Saturday morning 3/26/22 and was immediately put on hold without the chance of saying anything. I was headed nearby so I waited on hold. Got there and walked inside, still on hold. Two people at the registers, one on a computer next to them and a guy sitting at a desk that appeared to not be doing anything. Finally hung up after 23 minutes on hold and left

The owners are nice. Yes, they can get cranky but so can I ;o) This is a small family business so I would rather buy from them if I have a choice. They have good stuff, I buy a lot of rocks from a lot of places like Sepulveda and Thompson's and Resource Building Material and South Coast Supply sometimes has the best stuff for my immediate needs. It's great to have so many choices, I'm spoiled. I read another review about them being late but I've been doing landscaping for 40 years and believe me, 15 or 30 minutes late is NOTHING. Everyone is the same, anyone can be late for any reason, it's not like they dont care. Times are best estimates and everything seems to take longer on some days. Edit: They have now changed ownership and is now owned by Site One Landscape supply which use to be John Deere Landscape who bought up a LOT of businesses in California including Village Nursery and a few Irrigation Suppliers.

This company may have great prices but they have horrible customer service and the owners do not care when they make mistakes. My client ordered nearly $3000 in material from them and set up a delivery between 9 and 10am for which they were over 30min late. They started to dump the material when I realized it was the wrong material and told the driver to stop. I had to shovel the material back into the truck. The driver left and came back over 3 hours later with the correct stuff. We asked him when he was done to bring more dirt to which he said he would be back asap. He never showed after taking payment for the addition material and their office called 5min before they closed to say see you tomorrow. The next day they were 15 min late so I called to see where the driver was. I was cussed out but the owner and his wife for calling to lodge a complaint about their service. All the while I was being cussed out the owner kept telling my how great his service was. Funny thing to say when your cussing your customers out for a mistake you made that cost my client over $600 to fix. After I told him I was calling the credit card company to file a charge back he called my client and told him I was the one cussing and that they wouldn't deliver unless I left the job site because he was afraid of me. So being the bigger person I am I left so my client could get the material he paid for. I had shopping to do anyway so it wasn't a big deal to me. Bottom line is the company has good prices but horrible customer service. They care nothing about their customers. I would recommend you get tour material elsewhere.
