Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. I love that you can call say "hi, I'm ____ can you get my usual bag of cat food, dog treats, and guinea pig food ready for me to grab around 2?" Then, you can pay over the phone, call when you pull up and they'll run it out to you My kids also beg to visit their sponsored cat whenever we're in the area, and the staff are always kind with them.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Best quality of food for pets and toys. Lots of cat toys and cat trees. Even has cat backpack carrier's. Also a catio with cats from a cat rescue for adoption

Went inside for the first time to shop for my dog's 1st birthday. The staff were super friendly and helped choose the best treat and cookie/cake. When I mentioned it was my boys birthday, they threw in some free treat samples! My dog really enjoyed their dry freezed duck duck goose! Not only do they have treats, but they have everything you basically need for your furry friends. Definitely me and my pups new favorite place to shop. In the photos: 1. I was holding the dog cookie I bought from them for only $1! That's Prince, my little furry son, super happy on his birthday (: 2. Prince and my other dog Hailey! This photo is actually a screenshot from a video I took because he was wiggling and moving too much for me to snap a photo in his birthday hat lol. I also bought that hat from Boofy's!!

OMG, I love this place. We recently moved from PNW, we were looking Forbes place that could carry all our pets specialty foods. We were looking for Ostrich leg bones for our dogs, that Clarks use to carry but no longer. Now Ostrich bones are size of Cow bones, but weigh only 1/4 of there’s. They don’t splinter and my two little dogs love them. We told the staff what we were looking for, they took our information and called the owner to inquire about these leg bones. The owner said he use to get them but no longer due to distributor no longer carrying them. We left the store not thinking anything about it, 3 days later they call me and said they have a Femur and Leg bone waiting for us. They Inform me that the owner was not going to back down from a challenge and found them and order it. We felt so appreciated and surprised that they special order these bones for our two two dogs. We really like this place and thinks it’s awesome that the owner is willing to take care of there customers, even if it’s a strange request.

Boofy's is NM Safe Certified in COVID safety practices. All team members wear masks, get temperature checked at the start of their shifts, and maintain social distancing. Plexiglass barriers are in place at the registers. High-touch surfaces are cleaned throughout the day. All guests inside the store must wear masks, and curbside service and local delivery are available for customers who cannot or prefer not to mask up. Contactless forms of payment are available.

We do not sell prescription diet foods for 2 reasons: the ingredients are low quality compared to foods that we carry, and the price is usually higher compared to foods that we carry. In most cases, we can help our customers find foods and supplements that work as well or better than prescription diet foods, with better quality ingredients at a lower price. Cats are obligate carnivores that require sufficient levels of protein and moisture with their food in order to maintain good health. The protein levels in prescription diet foods for kidney disease can be too low to maintain quality muscle mass in many cats. Moisture content is also critical for cats, but especially those with kidney disease or urinary tract issues. Therefore, we recommend that cats with these health issues only eat high quality wet foods if at all possible.
