November 5th - *Update to my original posting. I am going to give the staff credit and thank them for reaching out quickly to us. That is a positive sign that hopefully things are moving forward in a good direction for everyone. Will update if necessary. Original post: My grandparents have been living here for approximately 3 months. This place is not cheap. My grandmother wanted to not have to cook anymore, and was dissatisfied and disappointed in the quality of food provided. If I could rate this zero I would. The food quality is consistently poor. Overcooked veggies, tiny budget for the head chef. The chef himself has apoligized for bad quality as he lacks funds to get better food. This place is purely profit driven without compassion. Profits over everything including the well being of the tenants. They have the AUDACITY to institute a rent increase come January 2020. I will do my best to inform others of the conditions provided

The place is beautiful and some of the staff is friendly. Cogir has the sales department jump through hoops to get you into one of their apartments. It takes a few requests to get Maintenance to fix things in the apartments when needed. My mother lived there for 5 months, then her mental and physical health started to get worse so I gave a 2 month notice and moved her into a smaller community for full assisted living. They made it almost impossible for me to schedule the checkout walk through, finally got it done signed off the apartment and turned the keys in. Then 2 weeks ago they charged my mother for the month of October when she no longer lives there. I have called to let them know and to have the money returned to my mother and they keep saying the check is on it’s way, they told me it would be in their office waiting for me today to pickup, I go to their office after 5:00 and I am told it has not arrived and might be here tomorrow. Jeanie who works in the office has not made an effort to get this matter resolved, very poor customer service. The time I wasted going to their office should have been spent in the hospital with my mother after having a stroke last week and she is not doing well. I am sure we are not the only ones that have had problems with this company Update: It took three weeks to receive the check. Lance and Amanda from the office called and apologized. But both of the situations should never have happened, they put me through unnecessary stress.
