Wonderful shop! Many kinds of honey, including some local. Wide variety of bee products. Everything you need to start your own beekeeping. A little pricey but good value for the money.

We got two hives and great personalized advice from the owners...his class was somewhat helpful. I would caution anyone tho on one account, people felt permitted to ask personal off topic questions that sorta monopolized the discussion, hijacked the conversation if i am.being honest. Def not Bee Kinds Fault their staff are more than capable of helping you from start to finish.

Recently attended an introductory beekeeping class as well as purchased products from their store. Would definitely recommend taking a class if you would like to take up beekeeping. The shop of theirs is full of all the honey and bee products you can imagine- lotion bars, lip balms, royal jelly products, ointments, beeswax candles, and a huge variety of local and afar honey varieties to sample and purchase. Full of beekeeping supplies as well to help you start your own hive!

Questions & Answers

Do you sell the empty skep jars for honey?

It's probably best to call the store directly at 824-2905. They do sell empty hex jars and queenlines, but I'm not sure if those are what you're after.

Are you interested in receiving your empty honey jars back for re-use, or should I just recycle them?

They give a 50 cent credit towards your purchase for each jar you bring back.

Hi Jeremy. This is not a direct line to the store, but I do happen to work there. Come back to the store this morning, we have extra queens just in case this happens. We'll be open by 10.
