We adopted a sweet, loving & beautiful dog on May 5th. All of the fees were waived due to overcrowding. They had so many awesome pets that need a good home. The staff are informative & compassionate & I highly recommend you go here if you're looking for a pet. They need you just as much as you need them.

They do their best sometimes don't judge an animal corectly. Dogs are under stress there and behave differently in a home setting. Two dogs I know personally were adopted but told the dogs were aggressive with other dogs. Both were not and became valued family members and members of the 'pack'. They need to do better when it comes to judging these dogs. My friends recently went and told all the German Shepherds were too agressive. I raised shepherds and know their personalities. Get it them in a calmer setting and they mellow out.

So I needed to surrender two cats due to medical issues that I have . I called the 311 and the guy was extremely nice but he didn't ask what jurisdiction I lived in. I drove all the way over there and they weren't able to help me.The men at the desk were very helpful and understanding. I understand City rules and what they have to do so it's completely understandable.
