This place has everything: Chutes, ladders, the outdoor concert from a Zoloft commercial. If that’s not enough for you, you can hit the dance floor with a human fanny pack.

The computers there are the best i've ever used, they usually keep the games up to date and a lot of the games there are current and popular. I go almost every weekend or when ever im trying to end the day with a good solid gaming session! Make sure to also bring a debit or credit card to pay for time on the computers they do not take cash sadly.

Great place to play with your friends or alone. Have lots of good games but some require your own steam account.

I was introduced to the E-Sports Arena through one of the founders/board members. I have been a few times and it is an awesome experience. Friendly people, great games, super high quality systems and great location on UCI Campus. Love that it is right next door the to pub so once you play a few hard games you can venture over and get some grub and good beer.

Hello, Teresa! We are on break as the rest of campus until the holidays are over.
Hello, William! If you bring your console to the arena, we do have some TVs that you can use. That said, sometimes these community corner areas are taken and in use. I would drop by first and check to see if there's an event going on and plan accordingly so you don't end up bringing in your devices and not be able to play!
Greetings, Allen. We are open from Mon-Fri from 10am to 6pm PT as of the moment! We do not have a Call of Duty team nor do we run leagues for Call of Duty, but Call of Duty titles are in our library of games available for play on our arena PCs.
Hello, Hai! Yes, we have reopened! Mask policy is still in place, but our standard hours of operation are currently Mon-Fri from 10am to 6pm PT.
Hi Michael! We don't have an estimate for when we're going to reopen yet since it'll depend on UCI leadership decisions for a broader campus reopening. We want to make sure it'll be safe for all of our staff and guests. In the meantime, we've launched an online membership program so we can still engage with our students and local gamers through tournaments and giveaways. You can learn more at esports.uci.edu/arena if you're interested. Regarding your question about new games, we aren't expecting to recruit for additional titles at the moment. We have to consider many factors including publisher/league support, popularity on campus, and our own budget constraints associated with fielding a new team with scholarships and coaches. For now, we'll keep competing in Overwatch and League of Legends, and we'll continue to keep an eye out for other promising titles we are able to support. In the meantime, we have plenty of competitive club teams representing UCI in other titles.
There are many ways to get involved in the esports program, including through scholarships or student jobs. You can learn more about recruitment to our varsity teams at https://esports.uci.edu/recruitment/, and we also hire nearly 80 students in paid positions each year (shoutcasters, interns, arena staff), so keep an eye on our socials! You can also email us for more info depending on what you want to learn more about.
Hi Aidan. The arena is closed until next Monday!
We don't have an age limit to use the facilities, and we'll sometimes plan special programming for youth, usually through our university's outreach/college readiness programs or through our own summer camps. All we ask is those younger than 16 be accompanied by a parent or guardian and stay no later than 11:00 PM!
We have a few student organizations for fighting games and Super Smash Bros. that host weekly tournaments or casuals in the arena! I recommend looking up the UCI clubs to stay up-to-date with their events. Many of these are open to the public in addition to club members.
We have a section for consoles you're welcome to use your equipment in. For PCs, if you bring the controller adapters, you can use them.
Currently we provide Logitech G PRO mice (wired).
For our scholarships, you can check out esports.uci.edu/recruitment for more information!
Yes they are! I am not a student and I have played there before.
We open from noon(12:00PM) to midnight (12:00AM).
