Our family did a full day tour on the Gunnison River and loved it! It was fun for my wife and me but also great for our kids who are 9, 8 and 4 years old. Cale was a great guide - clearly very experienced on the water, was funny for the kids, friendly and gave us interesting information about the river and mountains. We look forward to coming back next year!

Erin our guide was amazing!!! We had such a great time doing the Gunnison Extended tour and we are hitting up the Taylor River tomorrow. Both of the guides Erin and Angie were fantastic. We had a great tim and someone may or may not have fell in 😉 haha I would definitely recommend them and I would use them again too!

We had a great rafting experience with Cale. We chose the easier Gunnison 2 hour tour for our family (kids 12 & 8) . Cale was very nice and did a great job steering us down the river. We had a stop for water and the bathroom half way through and got to go through rapids along with some easy floating and looking at scenery. Definitely recommend. It was my boys favorite activity of our trip.

Chuck was a really great guide! Pointed out beautiful spots along river, and did fun rafting maneuvers. Great first experience rafting; very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!

Hi! We are traveling in an RV looking at Google maps i don't see a parking lot big enough. Where do we park? And do we check into their location and then head to a different location for the rafting?

You'll have to park on the street or possibly in the large lot to the west. Yes you will travel to the put in aboard one of their vans and return to the shop via the same.

How old do you have to be too ride? I have a 5,7, and 10 year olds can they all ride? Also is there a weight limit?

It's best if kids are at least 3 years old and weigh 30 pounds. On the other end of the spectrum, adults need to fit into our life jackets which have a 52" maximum chest circumference. But we will always talk to each individual group to see what their situation is.

Shot in the dark... Anyone know an old guide named "Soupy"? I worked with him on Maui in the 80s and visited him at his place here near Gunnison in 89. I lost contact with him many years ago. Thought I take a shot in the dark.

Do you do two-day float trips down the Gunny Gorge? How late in the season?

We do not. There are only a handful of river outfitters that do that. Try Gunnison River Expeditions. $2600 for a two day trip for 2 people.
