What a beautiful course. Stopped in for nine holes on our trip from southern California to Oregon. Lucky for us we got great weather. I'm a beginner, but the boyfriend is very seasoned (and patient). Northwood offered something for both of us. We'll be back!

A treasure of a golf course tucked into a redwood forest. My wife surprised me by making a tee time here while we stayed in Sonoma and the property did not disappoint! Even though the course is a bit short, you better hit the ball straight because the redwoods show no mercy. Undulation around small greens puts pressure on your short game. The staff was pleasant. I loved this place and would love to come back someday.

Golf course is in great condition and prides itself being open 365 days a year. Fairway to green are wonderful!
Nathan, thanks for the question. We don't have a full-length range. The course was built in 1928 and building a range would require removal of hundreds of beautiful Redwood trees. We have nets so people can warm up before their rounds. It hasn't stopped thousands of people from enjoying our course. We hope you'll come out to play, and see for yourself.

I visited this course in January , really enjoyed it the greens were layed out nice they removed a large amount of the trees so you should be able to navigate even more easily if you're able to keep the ball in the middle of the fairway .... Happy B'day and enjoy
