Nice park to MTB, run, hike. Beautiful when wet. Small park but lots of trails with signs to wander. There are oak trees for shade, manzanita trees and a small lake for a breeze. Didn’t see any drinking water.

Love coming here! Always some type of new animal or plant to see. I recommend coming during the fall after a rain, everything is so beautiful and green and the animals are usually out and about. There are many trails, longer ones and easy trails too. I would say most of them connect up to each other so it's impossible to get to far away or lost haha.

This place is pretty amazing. Lots of little adventures to find. A secret cave with an amazing little view. Several different trails, each with their own different view of the surrounding area. Dogs are allowed on a leash. I saw a couple of ponds when I was there they had some ducks in them. There were also several children running around exploring and enjoying themselves, so it seems like a pretty family friendly place to go. There were several picnic tables in shaded areas disbursed throughout the park incase you wanted to snack or some lunch. It can get pretty crowded so get there early plus the parking lot is super small and they charge like a four dollar fee but don’t worry there’s parking along the road just outside the park. I was lucky enough to get a spot in the shade there pretty lucky. So if you don’t park in the parking lot and you save yourself the fee, why not just drop it in the donation box on your way into the park. ENJOY!

Me and 3 of my sisters met up in CA for a sisters trip. We hiked here a couple times during our stay. Both hikes were about 4-5 miles and we took a different path each time. This park is amazing!! Both hikes we did uphill. One was more strenuous then the other. One sister has a bum knee so we started out with her on a lower, more level path and then retraced our steps, dropped her at a picnic table to enjoy the views and continued on our more vigorous hike. This place is beautiful! I would highly recommend if you are in the area. Park was clean. Trails are marked but we didn't really use the map. We did pay to get in but totally worth it.

No fish there,
Yes. At the top before the pond.
No fish in the lake and it's more like a little pond now.
I'm sure there are snakes, haven't seen any of course I stay on path . there is a sign posted about coyote sightings on the trail.
Of course there is you just have to know where to look out there
Yes it is it's open from 6 am in the morning to 8 p.m. in the evening.
Just caught 2 crappie yesterday! Catch and release of course. On my 2nd and 4th cast I might add. Using a little jig.
Yes. There is one main entrance that is used and parking is free. The kiosk is located here to buy your daily or seasonal pass. •LOCK UP ANY VALUABLES out of sight as there is no one on site here. •DO BUY A PASS as they do check and will kick you out even if you enter elsewhere and also this is the revenue they use to maintain the park. •BRING WATER as there is no water along the trails. It is laid out well and not difficult and cell reception is good but be prepared. •Lastly, be aware there is poison oak, poison ivy, and snakes. Best to remain on the trails and not touch plants if you don't know what you are touching.
Unfortunately there is no drinking water available. The water spigot that's been referenced is for cleaning and is locked. Please bring water it's a pack in pack out type of open space.
