Was with Kevin and his team for years. The only reason I dropped them was because I moved out of state. I used to bounce around from insurance company to insurance company, chasing the lowest rates. Once I landed with Kevin's team, I realized that I care way more about knowledge and communication than I do rates (even though the rates were always reasonable as well). I stopped bouncing around once I had Kevin and his team. They've done basic renter's policies and auto policies for me, but they've also been extremely helpful and creative in helping me design some bespoke policies around specific items/situations. Personable, responsive, available, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. If/when I come back to CA, Kevin will be the first person I call.

Worst car insurance agent my family has had. Not only did he not ever call when our car was stolen off of our property but he also refuses to cancel my families policy when we requested. —-Which was since the beginning of the year—- All Kevin Chivv wants is peoples money without actually providing any type of communication or customer service. He does not care about his clients, he does not respond to them, and worst of all he does not follow up with them when you file a claim about a car or property damage. A real agent actually follows up with his client to at least ask them if they are OK, but he doesn’t he doesn’t care. All he wants is your money and he will refuse to cancel your policy. Only way you will be able to cancel your policy is by calling customer service and having the agent transfer your policy to a different agent and then have the new agent clean up Kevin’s mess since he’s so damn lazy and won’t even cancel ur policy when requested. I’m also going to post this on the BBB website. I hope State Farm shuts him down.
