Tonight my son took me out for my birthday to Bootlegger. The entire experience was very disappointing. The hostess couldn't be bothered to say hello or demonstrate any friendliness. After asking our name she told us "up the ramp". As we have never been here, we were unfamiliar with the ramp. The bread bits are decent. Our fried ravioli was bland. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo is average at best. The chicken is good but the Alfredo has little character. The real fail was the egg noodle bolognese. It was beyond salty. The meat was so over salted it's unedible. After a few bites to make sure it wasn't in one area, I had to quit eating. If the waiter had returned to ask how we were doing, we could have updated him. Dishes can be fixed or re-served. Instead, 10 minutes in to our meal, a busser comes over and asks if we need boxes. We tell him no. Most of our dishes remain uneaten. Under normal circumstances this might be a red flag. Apparently not here. I asked the waiter why he never returned to ask how we were doing, he told us we too quickly ended our meal. A minute later we get our check for $80 and my son paid and left a tip. My son and I are now looking to end our night on a positive note. We had hoped to do it at the Bootlegger where we had hoped to try the cheesecake. Very disappointing experience.

Fantastic waiter. Compliments to the chefs! A gem with an excellent selection for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Great decor with nostalgic photos on the walls of famous entertainers.

What a fabulous find!!! OMG this place is amazing. It's such a beautiful restaurant also.. and it's huge. They have live music almost every night (check the website out) starting around 630pm. We had an early dinner and the server was amazing, out of this world. He was perfect! We had dirty martini's they were amazing, and a glass of Malbec, also great. They do serve bread and it was so good. It's like small pieces of garlic bread (soft and warm) served with their homemade marinara that you can purchase. We also had calamari and it was so tender, perfectly fried, some of the best I've ever had. My husband had some type of chicken with mushrooms and a side of fettucine alfredo. I had carbonara with chicken. The chicken on both dishes were cooked to perfection. I mean grilled perfectly.. not overcooked which most places seem to do nowadays. It was so juicy, so tender, and so flavorful. I cook chicken a LOT so I have high standards. They gave you so much sauce w/ the pasta which is something I love... I hate how these upscale restaurants give you tiny portions no sauce and the price is 3x higher than here.. so I will give this place a LOT of my business especially when all of our friends/family visit. I mean everything was just perfect. I cannot wait to go back and try everything on the menu. And this place has been around forever, and now I know why!!

Came here yesterday with my friends from London and had such a great time for lunch. As always, the food is excellent, the staff is super nice and friendly, and I got to play some Elvis Presley on the piano. I love their espresso so much. The lasagna lunch for $15 was such a good deal. Comes with bread, their famous sauce, and house salad. Definitely brining more friends here again. My number one choice in Las Vegas. Thanks so much! Happy Holidays! Michael

The Bootlegger Is Complying With Covid 19 Protocols. I Was There This Past Friday Night. You Have To Wear A Mask On The Way In. They Have Security Personnel At The Main Front Entrance. You Are Supposed To Wear Your Mask When Moving Throughout The Establishment As Is ALL Of The Empoyees Are As Well. The Bar Has Plexiglass Up To Keep The Patrons And Poker Machine Players Protected. The Bartenders/Employees Do Wipe The Bar And Poker Machines Down After Each Patron Leaves So Therefore The Bootlegger Is Following Safe Covid 19 Protocols As Far As I Could See. Who Doesn't Love The Bootlegger! The Fabulous Food Impeccable Service And Great Entertainment By George Bugati (Friday Night) Sincerely, Brett D'Andow (Local Musician & Guide)
