This is a wonderful luxury apartment community. The manager Jose made sure that my move in 2015 from Oregon was smooth and easy. I started out in a two bedroom second floor apartment that met all of my expectations. The apartment was spacious and each bedroom had large walk-in closets. The kitchen was filled with ample cabinet space to accommodate all of my kitchen gadgets. The balcony patio yielded a wonderful view of the picturesque sunsets and mountains to the west. In 2017 I moved to a three bedroom first floor apartment in a building near the rear of the community just next to the wall separating the apartments from the 215 freeway. The noise level was not unbearable and there was no view to be appreciated but the ease of apartment access being on the first floor and the increased availability of parking was of comfort. The bedrooms and kitchen were much smaller than that of the two bedroom apartment. Only the master bedroom had a walk-in closet. The kitchen had fewer cabinets making it impossible to store all of my small appliances so downsizing was necessary. In 2019 I moved to a one bedroom apartment designed for a disabled adult. The sinks were without under cabinets to allow for wheelchair access and the very large bathroom had grab bars along the commode and bath tub. It would have been preferable to have a shower with built in seating as it was extremely difficult to lift oneself into and out of the bath tub. In 2020 I moved out of Shadow Hills Apartments due to medical reasons. In summary, I found the two bedroom apartment to be the best value and layout. The ceiling of the second floor apartment is high and there is no upstairs noise as all the buildings are only two stories. The community itself is welcoming. The management provides monthly food events and holiday celebrations for the entire family. The pool and jacuzzi are regular gathering spots for groups. The fitness rooms are well maintained. This apartment complex is one of the few in Vegas that has large grassy areas and is dog friendly. The location is ideal as there is easy access to the 215 freeway. There is a Metro Police Station a few blocks to the east on West Cheyenne Avenue and it harbors the police academy. Many cadets rent apartments at Shadow Hills. The large park next to to the station has playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, skateboard area, and three dog parks. There are numerous places to barbecue. Many of the friendships established here continue today. So give this place serious consideration when searching for your next place to call home.

I loved it in shadow hills there is a Walmart market within walking distance the pool and gym are very well taken care of and clean, the staff was very incredible and friendly, maintenance was on point if you ever need anything done Johnathan made sure it happened very quickly, Everyone is very knowledgeable of what they’re doing Ivy, Rosa, and Jose are the staff of shadow hills in the office if you ever needed anything and you called during office hours they had your best intentions and listened to all you had to say, also this place has an app one of the best apps I used it’s easy to use and you can not only pay bills but it has a market place and you can connect with other neighbors I actually made a few mates while living here the inside of your apartment depends on what you want if you want hardwood with stainless steel appliances they have that option if you want carpet they have that option one two or three bedrooms options along if you have a smaller vehicle they have detached garages now if you’re like me and have a vehicle that won’t fit in the garage they have covered parking spaces as well this place is very convenient there is a shopping center gas station several fast food places and car wash all less than a mile away also very quiet area you’re not living on a Main Street so noise is not an issue.

I moved into Shadow Hills at Lone Mountain in June of 2018. I looked at several apartments before making my final decision and Shadow Hills stood out to be the absolute best! Shadow Hills was my very first apartment when I moved out of my parents house. As soon as I toured the property and met the office staff, I knew it was it. Bianca was the staff member that showed me around and assisted me through the whole process. Throughout my residency, I met Jose who became the Property Manager, and he is awesome! The community and area is very quiet and secluded - which I loved. I have been a resident there for just over two years and I recently did move out to live with my girlfriend so we can save and buy a house. I honestly can say that I miss Shadow Hills and the community. They treated me so well and the move out process was very simple. If you're looking for a quiet, safe, and nice community to live in, then I 100% recommend Shadow Hills at Lone Mountain.

LOL Shadow Hills Apartments are not "luxury" apartments at all. They could be nice -- the buildings are freshly painted and the landscaping is clean. Inside the apartments is another story. The real problem is the management. They are literally slum lords. When I moved in, the refrigerator would not get below 50 degrees. The gas co. would not turn on the gas because the 20 year old stove was that bad. The dishwasher nozzles were clogged with melted plastic. The manager, Tabitha, got mad at me for complaining. Scott, the maintenance supervisor, was in my apartment a dozen times and every time he acted like I was doing something wrong. I do NOT recommend Shadow Hills at Lone Mountain Apartments. Nope.
