Holiday Inn Express & Suites Henderson, an IHG Hotel

Positives: -kind, communicative front desk staff -woman in charge of breakfast was on her A game -breakfast had a good selection and was tasty Negatives: -door latch plate falling off of our room -shower faucet wouldn't turn off all the way and had a constant drip -wall paper peeling off in room -mismatched comforters was weird -raised stain on pillowcase -stains all over carpet in hallways -have to walk across parking lot to pool which was filthy; we didn't even let our kids swim in it -luggage cart tires too low to push easily Some of these issues could be easily fixed. We were honestly shocked at the quality of this 3* holiday inn express vs the beautiful one we stayed at in Mesquite. The Mesquite one is the reason we booked the same hotel in Henderson, but we'll be hesitant in the future because we're not sure which is the norm.

I stayed at the Henderson Holiday Inn Walking into the hotel it was very clean and it smelled really good I love the blue furniture the carpet was very nice Overall the atmosphere was welcoming. I was greeted at the front desk by Natasha she was phenomenal I work at a holiday inn myself and her personality was perfect She really showed her hospitality and made me feel really good I honestly just want her to get recognized for her personality her smile and the way she accommodated me as a guest. I stayed in room 210 and my mom stayed in 202 the rooms was perfect the bed felt so great my 2 kids enjoyed there space in room 210 it was big for them to play with there toys it was just perfect. Breakfast the food was great

Hotel was exceptionally Clean. The staff was very accommodating, especially the front desk . Dan was a pure pleasure to deal with....even remembering my name and my 3 sisters names! Breakfast was very good with enough choices. During our "sisters" stay we were treated to a managers reception each evening, enjoying eats, wine, beer, or soft drinks...all complimentary. My sisters and I will definitely make this our go to place to stay while in the Henderson/ Vegas area! Thank you Dan and staff 🙏

This hotel gets a 3 star rating for a few reasons. The pool and hot tub are down!! That's a sin for families that have younger children! The first room we went into had no power so we moved rooms. The next room had no TV remote. Can we live without a remote? Yes. But It's not convenient and for the amount of $$ for the night we should have a working remote. There were stains on the walls and the caulking around the bathroom sink was peeling off. All cosmetic but still is important to the eye of the consumer. I would give this place another 2 stars for the desk staff. The front attendant had great customer service. She was trying to find us a remote that worked and gave us a snack bag for our power not working. She's a keeper! We probably wouldn't stay here again because of the amount of money they want for their rooms, does not match their services.
