Gorgeous hike and the destination is worth the elevation gain. If traveling with young kids the plan for lots of breaks and try to go in the morning before the hot afternoon sun. Bring a lot of water and keep an eye out for snakes. We saw a fairly large one on the trail

Excellent hike in the east mountains not fair from Logan. The hike is decent and contains excellent views throughout the journey with the caves at the end worth the hike

I'm new to hiking and I would recommend this trail for beginner I think. I did fell down coming down (embarass). Other than that advise trail can be muddy/slushy due to snow and rain. But hey FTW I did enjoy it.

What a treasure! Well maintained trail is moderately challenging. The views and the spectacular caves are well worth the climb. Round trip is ~ 3.84 miles, 1039’ elevation change. Many people had dogs. Watch your little ones at the caves- loose gravel on rock makes for slippery conditions near deep drop-offs. BE CAREFUL AND CAUTIOUS!
