Had reservations. Got seated immediately Salad was so fresh. Filet was cooked perfect. And the meat is top notch. Halibut was good and baked potato was cooked just right. Elizabeth was our server and she was fantastic. So friendly and always smiling. Such a nice touch to our last evening in Alaska. And Kudos to Shawn for pointing us in this direction.

Expensive? Yes. But you get what you pay for and the service + quality + experience is worth every penny. -- Loud? Yes, at peak times, but for the style of restaurant and no dress code, its acceptable and its a sign of a successful eatery. -- Wait times? Yes-ish, but 2 hours total for apps, entree, dessert, drinks and coffee and no kids flew by with my bride. Enjoy your company. -- Delicious? Absolutely. Been here three times in last 2 years and have never been disappointed. We had changes to the plate order (ie hold the blue cheese) and it was served correctly. New favorite is the lobster cake app!! To die for. -- Dine here? Yes! Make a reservation. Celebrate that birthday, anniversary, or promotion in style at Lavelle's!

We ordered fish thinking it would be fresh and well cooked however the halibut and the salmon (especially the salmon) was well overdone. The flavours were decent, but I couldn't get passed how dry the fish was. The Margarita seemed to be from a mix and was way too salty. We left with it unfinished. The soup and salad were decent.

Our first night in Alaska we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious. The halibut was so fresh and flaky. We got the appetizer version and it was plentiful. We also tried the artichoke and crab dip. It was so good it didn't last for a photo! The French onion was rich and flavorful. My son liked his beef tips and my daughter gave the mac and cheese an 8/10. Overall it we throughly enjoyed our meals.

Total sanitation of tables, chairs and menus between service, staff mandated masks, social distancing as possible and recommended masking of patrons when not eating or drinking.
Mine that I agree in restaurant were terrific. Make sure your ask that they are extra steamy....
