The gals in the office were friendly when we reserved and called to ask questions. We got here late and they were very accommodating. Our cabin is clean, beds are comfortable, and perfect for our family.

Probably the best place to eat in Ferron. There is prepared food for a quick grab and go. They also have a “restaurant” with the typical sandwiches, pizza, and salads. The dining area is a table with 6 chairs. The convenience store that the restaurant is located in has your typical gas station fare, with the exception of alcohol and tobacco products. Instead, they have a variety of rifles, ammunition, and boots. The gas station also has ethanol free gas at the back of the lot.

No housekeeping service for the four days that I was there. The bathroom toilet was tiny and very uncomfortable. The walls must be cardboard- no sound dampening at all. There were not any plastic drink cups available to use for getting a drink. The plug in air freshener was so strong and annoying that I removed it. The rooms smell was still overwhelming and unpleasant - too perfumed- not a bad smell, just way too much scent.

Had a relaxing night after exploring the San Rafael Swell all day. Diner food was deeply satisfying. We stayed in one of the new cabins. A note of constructive criticism - the room could use a place to put your clothes...either a dresser or at the very least a luggage rack. Only place to hang up a few things was the hanging rack on the back of the bathroom door. The mini-split is very efficient, but a few throw rugs would be nice, as the concrete slab is very cold on bare feet. But overall, a quiet, comfortable night.
