Best breakfast in town. We came as at noon when there was a long waiting line. It worths the wait!!! Large portion but tasty at reasonable price was what we looked for. Definitely recommend to reserve a table in advance and ready to be full. Egg Benedict was my favorite but apple oatmeal pancake was so delicious too.

Delicious breakfast. Wide selection of your favorite eggs made with their special signature. There are other dishes & sandwiches you can choose from. Service is very good. Car parking available. Location close to the Wharf & other Monterey attractions

I took my mom to Pacific Grove for a vacation and decided to try this place for breakfast one morning. I am so glad we did. Its a very nice and clean place. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant was very clean and the staff kind and very attentive. We sat down and browsed the menu. I decided to order the 2 eggs and meat breakfast for 13.29 on May 18th 2022. It comes with the choice of bacon...turkey sausage...ham or pork sausage...honestly potatoes 2 eggs cooked the way you like them and an English muffin. The bacon was crispy and absolutely delicious...the eggs over medium...the potatoes and muffin I like cooked extra. The entire breakfast was simply delicious... My mom ordered an omelet. I do not remember which one. She thought it was good. She did not like the potatoes that much...she said there is an herb in them that is overbearing. Overall...I would definitely come here again..

First time checking out this local legend of breakfast foods. Everyone liked their choice of food (including the children), the servers were nice, the atmosphere is good, and they managed to accommodate our group of 8 fairly quickly on a Federal holiday morning. Not my first choice of breakfast places in town, but will definitely return. There was a long line when we left the place, so definitely come early for your breakfast fix. Noteworthy mention: ample parking and a huge outdoor seating area.

They don't serve alcohol
Yes. Gluten free bread for toast or sandwiches and gluten free pancakes. But make sure you advise your server so you can avoid the hidden gluten such as in the shredded cheese.
I agree with Robert and Eduardo. I'd go to Tillie Gort's if I were you. Awakenings is one of my favorites but I'm not a vegan. There are other places you might enjoy more for the vegan food. Saffron Cafe, Happy Girl Kitchen. Good luck!
