I've camped here with my parents since I was very little my parents had 2 tents one for us to sleep in and one for cooking and storing fooh. Some of my best memories were here. I bought my kids started in tents like my parents and now with the grandkids, but now we have a travel trailer. I'd recommend this place for anyone who wants to relax or ride bikes, canoes, swimming, or just making memories.

Love the peacefulness and how shady our sight is being we are tent camping. The store had pretty much everything for ur basic needs if items are left at home!!

This campground has it all just not all the city crude. The lake uncluttered with development. Awesome swim beach with sand. Playground. Trails all over. We came at first day. We was alone on Monday. So sweet. Bathrooms are plenty. Boat ramp. Ranger cool. Great camping to cover all kinds camping powered and non power. Pets have a special area. Has showers. Be sure to stop just before you get here for wood. I’m sitting on the bench writing this with fire warming my back. I’m bringing my grand kids next time. I don’t want to leave love the evergreens and the quietness.

It depends att is a good service to have up there
Its check in and out by 3pm we were just there a cpl weeks ago.
In the state park you're limited to two periods. If you can find a spot that is open and alternate two week reservations you might be able to stay for a while. Many of the weekends book out nearly a year in advance. Coal country camp ground in a couple miles away but not sure of the amenities.
I don't think but we have paintball places around. Glendale is hudge so you can find a place near by to do paintball wars
Pet loops are red oak and beech. You are now allowed to walk dogs all the way around the campground trail that goes around the campground. Dogs must be kept on a leash, cleaned up after, and must stay on the trail. You are allowed to have your dog in all day use areas as long as it is leashed, however no dogs are allowed inside either beach area.
Turn on your WiFi and follow the directions to connect and pay for service.
Check the DCNR website.
