Found parking fairly quick on the street. Used the facilities next to main parking lot. Hiked thru a fire trail and then a somewhat steep uphill on a narrow trail a & got to see some nice views. There are many trail options.

This is a great trail not far from DTLA. its got a great view from the top and not difficult at all. Amazing views of sunrise and sunset as well as the DTLA skyline. Only downside is that if you go at popular times (e.g. weekends and holidays) it is PACKED. Also used as a training ground for cross country runners and running clubs because of the size/width of the trails. Its a nice 4 mile loop takes about 2 hours if you go slow and take pics.
