This place was perfect to bring our dog off leash and get some great views of LA. Not too crowded and the trail is easy to navigate. Parking is available but I would suggest getting there early to get a spot up close.

A must see, the former Nike missile base is at the top and the views are wonderful. We had a hazy day but an amazing sunset. Caution: if you are driving you'll want a car with some lower clearance, it's a very rough drive.

Yes. They are there, just stick to the trails. They tend to be in the high grass, you'll rarely see them on the actual trail. I'm on these trails regularly and have only seen a handful
