What a nice trail 1.1 miles round trip short but lots of Challenges up and down a lot of wading through spots sometimes you think you lost the trail but it just in front of few more steps …… finally you see Lewis Falls in between a Valley

Yes. It's not a very long hike to the falls and it's not difficult.
Well me and others decided to go around 10-11. I'd say that time would be good to have a good amount of time to just enjoy the Hike. The weekends are very crowded just like lesly said.
You can! It's National Forest land. Please be aware that you will encounter others along the trail and likely other dogs, too. Keep your dog leashed, please! Also, if your dog is really reactive to people or other dogs, this prob isn't the best place for him. (I was just there again today and was pretty startled by someone with a German Shepherd who was freaking the heck out at our party -- two adults and five kids. The owner was straining to hold the dog back. We also encountered another couple of guys with a really chill black lab mix.)
The water isn't deep enough to swim, but you can picnic and wade.
It's not accessible due to the bobcat fire
Coldbrook campground is about 1 mile before you get there. The creek actually runs through the campground. First come first serve.
Bears, cougars, and snakes all live in the forest. You might see some.
Side of the road.
