the employees were mostly helpful and nice- the owner on the other hand seemed to be more money driven than actually care about the animals she sells. she was very rude, not only to me but to other customers that were in the store. i’ve never seen the owner of an establishment with so little customer service skills. so if you plan on shopping here, just hope you go in at a time where you’re able to avoid her. your experience will be much better.

I've heard of other people getting sick rats from them and they don't care. Pictures below are of a rat I found there who had necrotic tissue on the tip of her tail as well as she had a respiratory infection at one month old. I let them know about her condition and they just told me to return her as well as upped the price to $14 because she was "hairless and dumbo" (she is clearly not) I recommend looking at different rescues in Washington vs getting pets from a store that doesn't prioritize healthy animals and knows nothing about them. I recommend Tiny Tails and Scales Rescue or Little Critter Crew

The arachnids are all kept in very poor conditions that don’t pertain to each species needs. I know not many people care about tarantulas, but the two that they have are kept in terrible tanks that aren’t at all tailored to those breeds needs. Their striped knee tarantula has no dirt to burrow in, (something essential for that breed to feel secure), it was bone dry when they need it fairly humid, and has way too much space up top for it to climb, which is a big no no for terrestrial tarantulas, as they could easily fall and rupture their abdomen which is fatal. I would also advise removing the water dish from their uromastyx cage as it could get scale rot easily. Many online resources are out there for the basic care of the animals they’re trying to sell and it seems they can’t be bothered to read any of them.

I bought my two Guinea pigs Sage and Ivy there. It is way to expensive for them ( $50) but it is so worth it. A few staff know my family and how often we go there so they always let me help with the pigs there. Staff are always welcoming and I love that.

All employees are masked. Customer masks are required. We offer curbside loading or free delivery to customers unable to mask. We have live animals in our store so it is the nature of our business to be constantly cleaning and we use the local distillery’s hand sanitizer to accomplish that in all areas except directly sound the cages where is use a peroxide lemon mix that is antibacterial without being potentially. harmful to the animals. Thank you for asking.
