The store couldn't cancel my dead mom’s phone- they said they needed me to find a "corporate store" to submit the official death certificate, but couldn't tell me where such a store was. I ended up spending over $600 on a phone I wasn't using because no one could tell me how to cancel the phone without paying the whole thing off, regardless of the fact that the person who had the phone was dead. At this point, I actively recommend people not go to ATT because the service, especially with respect to billing and clear information, is horrible and wildly inconsistent. And that’s not even getting into how much worse their trade in and insurance process is compared to Apple. Right now I’m dealing with them claiming they don’t have a phone that was sent to them, just like the other people all over the Internet. ATT is getting to the point that they’re as bad Comcast on Southpark.

Was not getting service on my phone. Dude at the store told me my phone was too old and needed to be replaced. Suggested I buy an 800 dollar phone. I took my phone to the at&t on 4th street for a second opinion. They swapped out the sim card and the phone immediately started working again. I will not be going back to 9th st again if I have any issues.

We had the most amazing experience today with At&T. They helped us get on a less expensive plan that will end up giving us more data, plus we got an amazing deal on an iPad and new iPhone! The employee that assisted us was really professional and so helpful. I actually really appreciate that they are being so safe and responsible by limiting customers in the store and wearing masks. It shows they care about the health of their workers as well as the customers.
