Actually, you should go and ask. From my understanding they do provide hotel/motel depending on your situation. The doors open at 8am and close at 5pm.
I have I've called and left voicemails and emailes.
They will send you an award letter telling you how much you will be getting!!! it takes about three weeks!!
It has to be from a shelter, or a landlord, or from a friend. It has to be verifiable. Talk to Maryanne. She is one of the best workers they have.
