Volunteers are awesome. Very helpful if it's your first time there with explaining things. Grandson had a blast riding the Carousel horses!

My kids love the carousel. The volunteers are fantastic & make each ride enjoyable and fun.

Fun for the little ones in summer you can rent bikes. They gave a party room and a snack bar they do all sorts of special events here easiest way to find them is to watch their facebook page. During the summer they do a food truck event. There is a concession stand to buy food and drinks if you get hungry or thirsty in the carosel or the park.

Didnt think my teen & her friends would like this...boy was I wrong! They wanted to go again & again. Takes you back to when you were a kid. They have concessions. They have restrooms. A lovely park area to sit at a picnic bench & eat. A little playground & sprayground. A walking path that goes all around the sports complex.

Hi Kim. It isn't based on age; rather it is based on height. A child must be 42 inches or taller to ride on the outside row of animals and to ride without an adult chaperone.
Yes. You can contact the Carousel office by phone at 378-3257 and have a gift card mailed. You may also stop by the Carousel during our operation hours and purchase a gift card in person. Please note hours are different during the COVID pandemic and its best to call first to ensure someone is in the facility to assist you.
2 to 3 minutes. A nice travel back in time to family friendly entertainment. Indoors and out of the elements. Well kept. Parking close.

Hello, Kelly. The show last fall was a show which rented the Southridge Sports Pavilion building to hold a show. To our knowledge, they are not doing a show there this fall. They did purchase some carousel rides to give away to attendees, which I believe is what you are remembering. The City of Kennewick and Carousel co-produce an antique and decor show called Vintage at the Ridge each March. More information about next year's show will be coming just after the first of the year. We have a Facebook page if you'd like to follow called Vintage at the Ridge.
Hello. Bette Largent (then president of the National Carousel Association) of Spokane and Sue Baldwin of Republic, Washington did the restoration work. Both are carousel consultants who have done work on dozens of carousel horses in their careers.
All riders under the height requirements must have a chaperone who rides for free, standing next to them, not on a horse
Doesn't cost a thing to walk in the door
$5 gets you 2 rides and some rings
$ 3 per ride
