My friend and I came here for Sunday brunch, thank goodness we made a reservation because there was a line go get in (10am). We had the option of picking where we wanted to be seated, we choose outside but the covered part. The atmosphere was very welcoming, the waitress was friendly and attentive plus our food came out quick. Since it had access to the coffee house you're able to get coffee drinks (I don't drink it so that's all I can tell you). I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was soo good. I asked for the chicken on the side but it was nice and flaky, well seasoned, just delicious. The waffle was soft with just the right amount of syrup. I also ordered a side of home fries which was also tasty. My friend ordered the French toast 😋. The prices were good and I would definitely come back. Especially with a reservation. Only bad thing, parking is hard to find. Although it's a lot of street parking you just have to find a spot.

Love the New Orleans vintage aesthetic of it all. Brunch was delicious, and reasonably priced. We ordered the waffles, mussels, and the raspberry Bellini. They have a considerable portion for the mussels which was pleasantly surprising. Everything tasted great and had a unique twist to it. The outdoor seating is beautiful for a nice sunny day, while indoors the bar and booths are also quite nice. The waiters were also very friendly. Will definitely be returning.

Awesome place in Lawrenceville!! Went into the coffe shop and that was amazing. They have an Horchata Latte that was awesome. The mere fact they try to think outside of the box deserve the 5 stars already. The space is awesome and we had a great time. Super recommended!

Absolutely loved it. It has a unique feel and look to it. Sort of a art deco meets Roman villa. You can choose to sit outside in the courtyard or inside at one of the bars or tables. I chose to sit outside on a nice sunny day and I was not disappointed. The service was quick, responsive, and attentive. The food was well presented, portioned well, and tasted amazing. I would highly recommend this place as a spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner. In short, if you want a casual but classy place to sit down and enjoy a meal and drinks with friends or someone special, The Abbey should be on your mind.

Yes. It used to be a funeral home. Now, you can sit on the patio, watch a fountain and sip a negroni. It's a good trade off.
Yes it is
Don't think it matters, you can order anything off the menu during lunch or dinner.
We welcome Customers to utilize our coffeehouse space to catch up on their personal work!
Order off the menu but they do have a bloody mary bar
