Great stair hike and trails π£! We parked at the Mineral Wells picnic area and hiked up! The garden has plenty of benches and a picnic table for a snack break. There a small meandering trails that lead to bigger trails or back down to parking. May be a challenge for disabled or very small children.

Great hike. Had 4 kids with us ages 3-9 and they all did great. It is .4 miles up. The little one got to ride shoulders for a little. We all had a great time!

First time trying this trail. It was tougher than I anticipated, but rewarding at the end. Nice view all the way to the top. Nice picnic area to eat our lunch. Beautiful flowers, succulents, and plants in the garden. Dogs allowed on leash, water fountain at the top. Saw coyotes so be aware if you have small dogs. Parking is free.

Woke up early to spend the day in LA and began with Amirβs Garden. Due to it raining an hour prior, the trail was empty and i was able to have the garden all to myself which was really nice. The entrance was a little hard to locate since i came from the side where the golf course was located. Below i posted a picture of what the entrance looks like. I love the story behind this place. There were several plants along the sides of the path and it was easy to see where to walk. The stairs to the top may be a little difficult for someone who isnβt use to hiking but overall, it was a pretty easy trail. Benches are placed in front of the pretty views for you to enjoy. I recommend using the restrooms at the park on the way to the trail because there werenβt any at the garden.

Per laparks.org Park Hours: 5 am - 10:30 pm I have been there many times for sunrise hikes and running although never as early as 5am. I would watch for signs to make sure you don't get a ticket. Enjoy!
There are a couple different paths up there but from where I parked direct up to Amir's Garden was maybe 30 or 40 minutes, my whole hike was about 2 hours and change, continuing up to the asphalt and then coming back on the shorter route that doesn't pass Amir's.

Moderate ascent from either stairs trails or main trail road.
Around 8 miles it took 4hrs to get to the Hollywood sign from amir garden..
There are picnic tables hidden throughout the garden, but almost sure no grilling. There is a lot of grilling down in the flat meadows near the golfing
